Sekitar beberapa bulan lalu, seorang teman craftku yang baik dan sudah senior memesan figures untuk hadiah cucu kembarnya yang berulang tahun. 

Karena the twins ini lucu banget, saya senang sekali bisa bikin figures dari foto mereka. 

Figures ini kubuat dari full polymer clay dengan menyertakan detil pada baju dan topi. ohya sebenernya tanemannya kubuat glow in the dark tapi karena kesibukan yang amat padat, nggak sempat kufoto <hiks>

Karena pikirku pakai akrilik box kog kurang manis, kebetulan nemu si glass dome ini. rasanya akan lebih cantik untuk melindungi clay figures dari debu. ya harganya sih mirip-mirip dengan akrilik box dan ukurannya terbatas, tapi oke lah untuk dimensi figures dengan tinggi 8-15 cm.  Kalau mau lihat detilnya silahkan ke youtube berikut ini.

BT21 BTS Polymer clay charm

Korean Boy band? I'm not really know or a fan about K-POP but I think they have huge fan specially in ASIA. last year my friend asked me to make BT21, I never thought it was cute but it is cute..

Belle clay doll figure of Beauty and the Beast

Hi, 

This is my "beauty and the beast" week, I'm kind of can't stop making belle princess doll :D

here you can see my last figure of belle in blue dress when she singing bonjour while she carrying her favorite book. And this one is when belle has beautiful dancing with the Beast. I make it little glamour and follow the Emma Watson's yellow dress. Oh I wanna dance like her :D

If you want to know the polymer clay I use, it is cernit. For the dress I used translucent yellow mixed up with glamour white :) Its beautiful.

So this one I make the picture just like in blue night with shining stars :)

Semi 3D Figure Belle Beauty and the beast

Beberapa minggu ini saya super sangat sibuk, masih sama berkecimpung di dummy makanan. Karena cukup penat, kemaren malem diriku tidak bisa tidur, jam 11 malam akhirnya bikin figure semi 3Dnya Belle deh hihi... Ini kuanggap fanartnya Belle dan tidak kujual, alias buat koleksi sendiri dan dipajang di lemari pajangan. hehehe

Ohya, saya lumayan suka Belle dari kecil, karena princess ini nggak cuma mendambakan pangeran berkuda. Tapi princess ini suka baca buku dan cerdas, juga sifatnya tulus :) 

Ah dulu inget banget waktu kecil om saya ngajak nonton Belle di bioskop.. rasanya seneeng banget. jujur deh..lebih suka Belle sama si the Beast (pas jadi beast) daripada pas berubah jadi ganteng..hahaha *pikiran anak-anakku dulu cukup aneh ya :P

Figure Belle ini kubuat dari cernit polymer clay, sengaja full cernit pengen benar-benar tahu hasilnya gimana. Bagian kepala dan tangan + kaki, dari cernit flesh kode 425 dan kucampur porcelain white 50%-50%.

Dan roknya.. uhuiiii suka deh, pakai warna blue yang translucent kucampur sedikit glamour white. Jadinya ada shiny pearl effectnya. celemeknya juga dari glamour white.. cantik nggak? Old Couple Clay Figures Happy 50th Golden Anniversary

Above quotes is not just quotes, if we really want passes of being husband and wife until the end of our life we must aware that our priority is LOVE. 

This week I just finished this old couple figures for their 50th golden anniversary gift. When I make these figures, I imagine of me and my husband. I don't know how long God will give me time to live in this earth but I thought 50 years of marriage anniversary is too short, means just about five times of my marriage age. Everything goes too very fast because God really bless us everyday. Thank you Lord.

I used thai clay for this couple figure because thay clay is pretty good for sculpting and forming, the result for skin is more alive. The stand base is white acrylic plate with polymer clay, I used epoxy glue, so the figures will stick to the acrylic base perfectly. Java Wedding Clay Figure by KuroHouseofCraft

This month I feel like easily tired because the weather here too sunny. While still a lot of works must to do but making this clay figures make me feel refresh again. Like when you do a thing you can imagine a lot of new creations from it :)

Let me show you my new clay figures, the java wedding clay figure (in bahasa Indonesia: Boneka pengantin jawa). Java is one of islands in Indonesia. Java has minimum 3 cultures splited by area, West Java (Sunda), Central Java and East Java. When you come to Java you can find different cultures and languages within 1 island (thanks God for Bahasa Indonesia as our national language) :D

This one I made is from Central Java. The bride (woman) hairdo has unique shape in the front, and she wearing "konde" (a hair bun) in back of her head. the bride also wearing some gold hair accessories, so I use headpin. Somehow I feel this culture is very beautiful, it is like Japanese princess or Korean princess, they have unique hairdo. It like heavy but it worth for elegance and beauty.

can you see the dress? I use white and translucent colors for the kebaya (wiki: a traditional blouse-dress combination that originates from Indonesia...). the different is here, the original java wedding usually wearing black kebaya with gold line but lately modern people more choose the simple one (white) than black kebaya. For wedding we use long blouse kebaya as a "tail" like western bride. the translucent clay I use is thai clay. Just roll press it as thin as possible, it will look translucent but we must do it quickly because it will dry soon. and I decoupage the batik fabric into clay as a skirt (or called sewek in java)

For the groom, they usually wearing blankon as hat. But for this one I made white hat with gold carving. It quite simply just man wearing baju koko, pants and golden sarong (fabric skirt)

and for the flowers I combine pearls, blue flowers, white roses and some light yellow-green leaves. It beautiful isn't it? :)

Clay in Frame "KuroHouseofCraft Cafe" use Sakura Clay

Lately I made some craft things for my own, and this one of my creation "KuroHouseofCraft Cafe". I tried Sakura clay not only for food but for clay figure too. For this one, I made Chef with orange hair and the themes is pink.

Its fun making this frame, I decoupaged the inside frame with that pink-square paper. I used black card and made it like black board. Also I wrote the menu by Sakura embossing pen (soufle) and add some stickers for ornaments. 

You too can try made your own frame with your kids either make cafe, kitchen, room, or whatever you like. it really Fun! Happy Crafting :)

Pororo and friends Clay Figures { Cake Topper }

Pororo is one of my favorite character : ) the first finger puppet I made was pororo and friends. There are Pororo, Crong the little dinosaur, Poby the polar bear, Eddy the fox, Loopy the pink beaver, Petty the female pinguin and Harry the hummingbird : )

But lately I'm busy with clay and quite rarely touching felt craft. So About last two weeks I made these figures, Pororo and friends for cake topper. Its fun too :)

I used Amos Clay (air dry), the Pororo size is 5 cm height. the most difficult things is making pororo head :P but I'm happy it was done by 2 days with really good mood

Masha & the Bear Figures

on No.. this is February and I just post today 5th Feb 2015. it should be January :,O I supposed write about my polymer clay experience this early year but its not ready yet, so I post this "Masha & the Bear" cake topper first. 

When my first time watching Masha, I'm very eeuurrggghhhh ...how come in the world there's little girl like this. She's very naughty ><" I really pray my kids wanna be would be better than her :D but as a mommy or daddy, we should see how the Bear so patience and keep loving & care whatever our kids doing such as messing our house <*except our craft room  :P thats mom's privacy : D >

First I drawed Masha with my anime style in order to make her eyes looks behave :'P but I don't think the birthday girl would like it. so I decided to make it only 20% "behave" Masha

so, this one is 20% behave Masha, the eyes looks quite real isn't it ? and I sculpted her cheek and lips with good smile so she will look more behave. : D *but one of my friend told me it still naughty.

I put some blush on her cheeks with pink one, and brown gold eyes shadow to her hair to make shiny effect 

for eyes and lips I used acrylic paint.

How about the bear? this is first look before I made his cheek, hand and legs. I also do one by one cuts to all parts for hairy effects.

Tintin Chess (Catur Tintin)

About two months ago I made this Tintin Chess set, its quite challenged for me and I don't think I would make it over in the near future X D but I can tell that this chess is my masterpiece in year 2014.

I was really feeling nervous to choose the characters for white team and black team. :D 

Each team content of 16 pieces Characters: one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. 

I thought our rivals not always evils and our competitors not always our enemy, we can be friends so I picked up the character by what on my mind :P

They are King - General Alcazar and King Tintin on my 24 x 24 cm square magnetic chess board, so you can imagine the size of each figurine. hm..quite tiny ><"

so..lets start from The King and The Queen

For White team, I choose Tintin as King and Bianca Castafiore as Queen.

Olaf plush doll by KuroHouseofCraft

About last week my friend's daughters have birthday party, so I & my husband thought that Olaf plush doll would be great gift for two little girls, just like Anna and Elsa. 

I made together with my husband about 3 hours : ) how happy I am, a man helped me make plush doll. He helped me cut the pattern that I've prepared,  and sewing Olaf buttons. This Olaf doll size about half meter so they would love to hug Olaf and play together.

I hope they would like this doll.
