Cara Membuat Kancing Bungkus (How to make Covered Button)

Karena tutorial ini dibuat untuk Indonesian Crafter, jadi kali ini saya akan memakai bahasa Indonesia (semoga dapat dimengerti :P)

Mungkin Crafter agak sulit menemukan alat pembuat kancing ini, karena biasanya alat pengepres kancing ini hanya dijual oleh beberapa toko garmen tradisional, di onlineshop-pun ada tetapi harganya cukup mahal. Jadi di samping saya menjual macam-macam alat & bahan craft, saya akhirnya memutuskan untuk menjual alat ini dengan harga yang cukup memuaskan secara online supaya anda tidak susah-susah mencari toko yang menjual alat ini mengingat transport, capek, dsb. Untuk membuat kancing bungkus, anda memerlukan 
1. Alat Pengepres

2. Matras Berdasarkan Nomor ukuran kancing: terdiri dari piston pencetak bagian atas (pilihan lengkung, datar, kerucut), 1 bagian matras top (lubang diisi oleh piston pencetak) dan spring bagian bottom untuk kancing bagian bottom.

No. 28 (diameter 1,7 cm) 

No. 36 (diameter 2,3 cm)

Tersedia juga Matras No. 18, 22, 24, 28, 32, 36, 44 & 60 berikut ini ukurannya:

Matras (cetakan):

Matrass 18 diameter 1.2 cm

Matrass 22 diameter 1.3 cm

Matrass 24 diameter 1.5 cm

Matrass 28 diameter 1.7 cm

Matrass 32 diameter 2.0 cm

Matrass 36 diameter 2.3 cm

Matrass 40 diameter 2.7 cm

Matrass 44 diameter 3.0 cm

Matrass 60 diameter 3,7 cm

3. isi kancing: terdiri dari bagian atas (Top) dan bawah (Bottom), masing-masing ukuran memiliki nomor

Cara membuat Kancing Bungkus:

Pastikan Alat Pengepres berdiri tegak lurus, tidak miring, dan steady (tidak goyang). Gunakan meja/ papan multiplek tebal yang dapat dibor dan dimur (3 set mur panjang).. kali ini saya tidak memasangnya di meja (karena hanya untuk tutorial)

Langkah pertama, tempatkan bagian mattras bawah (bottom) di bagian bawah alat press dan letakan isi kancing bottom di atasnya. 
Potong kain 2 cm lebih lebar dari isi kancing (misalnya size 36 diameter 2,3 cm, diameter kain adalah 4 cm)

 masukan piston pencetak ke matras bagian atas (cekungan pada bagian dalam), masukan kain ke atasnya dan isi kancing bagian atas.

Padatkan dengan stik kayu.

letakkan matras sejajar di atas matras bawah pada alat pengepress. (atau pasang refill bagian bawah/bottom, tempatkan pada refill kancing bagian atas dan sedikit tekan) pasang kedua cetakan seperti pada gambar berikut.

Putarlah tuas pemutar hingga menekan dengan kuat matras (spring turun ke bawah), kemudian lepaskan.

 Setelah putaran dilepaskan, buka kembali matras atas.. kancing bungkus sudah jadi. mudah dan cepat! :) jika masih merasa bagian atas dan bawah kancing belum rapat/kuat, kembalikan ke matrass, tutup, dan press lagi berulang-ulang agak cepat 2-3 kali. :) Selamat berkreasi dengan kancing bungkus.

Baby Hat and Booties "Angry Birds"

After playing angry birds on my mobile phone, I do really want to knitting angry birds hat, but there was no one request until last two weeks one of my customers ordered angry bird hat and booties for their baby boy <"they have cute chubby baby boy">. He does shows me one baby hat model, but I still thought that I could make the better one. When I create things with character's theme, I'll try to make it perfect. I'd so much thanks for my customer who lets me be more creative. :)

Funny Brooch and Pin

After make flowers and flowers, I have pretty good idea to make funny brooch excepts flowers, here its the series A to D, oh my hand can't wait to make another series..

Sesame Balls Dimsum "Onde Onde"

For a long time I want to make this Dimsum Sesame Balls. I'm in love with this snack @ Chinese Restaurant.  They usually served after we eat dumplings (dimsum). I dont know where this snack came from whether from China or Indonesia, because I also knew it as "Onde-onde", we're Indonesian people can find this snack at Indonesian traditional market. But I think "Chinese Sesame Balls" are more soft than "Onde-onde". 

So I preferred to make Chinesse sesame Balls then.

ok, This is the recipe and of course... the secret tips how to make it soft when we eat it!


Paste Recipes:
250 gram Red Bean
(you can use greenpeal), I use fresh red bean so it will take 10 minutes to be cooked
4 spoons of Sugar
500 ml water

Poach the red bean with 500 ml water within 10 minutes, drain the water into a cup. Let the red beans temperature go down 5 minutes. Smash it and mix it with sugar until all mixed and the textural are soft, I used blender. if not soft yet, you can add 1/4 cup water into your blender. After that cook the red bean in non-stick pan until the water evaporated and it become jam. cold it within 30 minutes while you can prepare the skin.

Skin Recipe:
(A) 250 Gram Glutinous rice Flour (it's not rice flour)
(B) 2 spoons of 1 spoon Sago (Palm) Flour plus 100 ml water
a cup of Hot Water (100 deg C)
Half teaspoon of salt
a cup of Cold water (20 deg C)
100 gram sesame seeds (put it on the plate)

mix flour A, B and salt, then enter the hot water slowly, stirring rate until you feel that flour dough can be formed. prepare dry glutinous rice flour in your hands to form a skin.
Take a handful of dough, tap-tap, round shapes and flatten, then give the content of the red bean paste about 1 teaspoon, and then formed into a ball. dip it in cold water briefly and then enter into a plate of sesame seeds and make sure the sesame seeds have stuck to the entire surface of the ball.

how to fry?

Use non-stick frying pan, prepare the oil (minimum of approximately up to 3/4 submerged parts of sesame balls)
heat oil about 2-3 minutes (medium temperature, not too cold or too hot)
input sesame balls and round it slowly and evenly. keep heat of the friying pan until the sesame balls a little grown up (but dont let it crack) and become golden. 8 pcs of the sesame balls is ready ^ ^
If you do it right, then when you eat the sesame balls that will be really soft in every bite and not too sticky. lets try it!

My Yard Photograph Part 1

This Morning I captured some photos of my Yards, and found some interest things.

I found "smurf house" on my coin cactus pot, they are tiny and only up a day I thought. "I didn't see any smurf anyway..maybe they're too shy.. <lol>"

 

And.. wow, who is there in my Melon Plant.. it looks very angry but mousy actually. hehe.. for long time I wish to take his photos but he always hide from my camera. so how lucky me can get it this morning "a beautiful lizard" :)

also..this is pandanus flower, grow up in my yards since baby and now they have flowers. I love that, its like orchid flower or butterfly isn't it?

Its Timmy Time Baby Hat and Booties part 2

 a lot of my customer request the Timmy Time Baby hat and booties, after made it many times I modified it as customer's special request,

it's Denim Blue Baby Hat and Booties for Baby Boy

and it is the sweet Timmy Hat and Booties for Baby girl for my customer. I was put flower on the right and left side so when mommy carry the baby on her arm, people will see the flower from the side view. 

hm.. I love the pink color on this hat and booties, so soft and so baby girl. :) I can't wait to put these things on to my own baby.
