Tintin Chess (Catur Tintin)

About two months ago I made this Tintin Chess set, its quite challenged for me and I don't think I would make it over in the near future X D but I can tell that this chess is my masterpiece in year 2014.

I was really feeling nervous to choose the characters for white team and black team. :D 

Each team content of 16 pieces Characters: one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. 

I thought our rivals not always evils and our competitors not always our enemy, we can be friends so I picked up the character by what on my mind :P

They are King - General Alcazar and King Tintin on my 24 x 24 cm square magnetic chess board, so you can imagine the size of each figurine. hm..quite tiny ><"

so..lets start from The King and The Queen

For White team, I choose Tintin as King and Bianca Castafiore as Queen.

what about two rooks? 

for the white side, I made Tintin in the blue lotus with Snowy hiding behind his back. cute isn't? (I really want dog like snowy)

and for the black team rooks are Tintin and Snowy in the Cigars of the Pharaoh, when they got caught like mummy

who are the Bishops?

@ White Team, Of course the famous characters Captain Haddock and Professor Calculus

@ Black Team,  I choose Puschov because he has green jacket like Profesor Calculus and Doctor Sophocles Sarcophagus because he has beard just like captain Haddock but his beard longer. ( I have no reason at all, just looking the rivals of white team) lol

and the knights? White Team vs Black Team must be the the twins

Who else more cute twins than Thompson and Thompson, they are always stick together in happiness and sadness.

Their rivals must be twin too, I choose the other twin brother in Tintin, Professor Hector Alembick and Alfred Alembick (Can you find the different?)

And the last is the pawns, they must be small and cute..who else than.... SNOWY ^ ^ v I dont care whether he is angel or devil, snowy reminds cute.
