Learning to sew Pillow cover

This is my first handmade pillow, I really learned a lot from this. do you know the fabric I was used? I didn't buy new fabric because it was for learning hehe the fabric has given by my husband from His shirt He doesn't like it anymore so with my heavy heart..  I cut cut and cut.. , sew sew sew.. Its really hard to learned because I didn't use the sewing machine needle shoes. hahaha but now I do understand how to use sewing machine. XD see! a failure not always bad, finally I made first Pillow ^ ^

and taraaa...I made the second pillow, the better one. I use 100% cotton and put some felt application on that. ^ ^
