Indonesian wedding couple - clay cake topper

Ini adalah salah satu nimiatur clay yang kubuat april 2014 lalu untuk sepasang suami istri. :) tingginya kurang lebih 9 cm. Uniknya kali ini ada motif batik di pakaian pengantin dan saya belum pernah membuat motif batik sebelumnya. Akhirnya motif batik itu saya lukis di atas clay dengan menggunakan cat akrilik berwarna coklat. Memang cantik pilihan pemesanku kali ini, dipadupadankan dengan warna hijau tosca tua dan muda, kerudung tosca dengan sedikit lapisan berwarna putih dan bunga pink. Ohya, saya juga menambahkan payet dengan gliter pada bagian gaun. nah karena pemesan menyukai bunga tulip, saya juga buat alasnya dengan bunga-bunga tulip berwarna pink di sekelilingnya :) Happy Wedding ya.. :)

Tintin Mini Diorama Clay The Crab with the Golden Claws

I really feel challenged this time to make mini diorama from the Adventure of Tintin comic book. So I choose from The Crab with the Golden Claws (1940) page 31

This is my first time make 3D for Tintin, and it really not easy. The Characters here are ..

Captain Haddock with red handkerchief hat, black whiskers, big nose, untidy hair, white shirt, black pants & straps, he looks talk to Tintin like grumbling : D Tintin, he's cute boy, little eyes, red blush on his cheek, and he wearing white whiskers, white cotton shirt, brown Tintin's pants, and he holding his jacket and blue shirt. 

They are sweating walking in that desert, but the one looks happy is Snowy, he's got big size bone : D

and This is my first Tintin Mini diorama : ) the height size is -+ 8 cm, and that snowy head is 1.5 cm, I used Amos Iclay as main clay  materials and sakura paper clay for the sand :)

About last week my friend's daughters have birthday party, so I & my husband thought that Olaf plush doll would be great gift for two little girls, just like Anna and Elsa. 

I made together with my husband about 3 hours : ) how happy I am, a man helped me make plush doll. He helped me cut the pattern that I've prepared,  and sewing Olaf buttons. This Olaf doll size about half meter so they would love to hug Olaf and play together.

I hope they would like this doll.

Kokeshi Bag and Purse (Painting on Fabric)

Remember when I drew kokeshi on fabric here. So I tried acrylic painting on fabric too, and I love it. Here is one of my customer request a bag with kokeshi painting & applique.

Drawing on Covered Button (Hairpin)

Last time I made tutorial how to make covered button with manual machine. There are many sizes of them and we can make many things from covered buttons. 

These are some covered button that I make from small pieces fabrics, buttons number 36 and I draw it with fabric pen & felt tip marker (Giotto) and its fun.

hehe.. and I put a French-language sentence on this photo, but of course I can not speak French. I just think that the French language is unique and interesting. ^ ^

Clay Couple wearing Popeye and Olive Costume

Lately I received many custom order for clay couple, mostly for their wedding cake topper, wedding anniversary or their husband/wife birthday (I really want make my own) :D but till today still doesn't have time for my self. 

ok. last week I just finished another clay for couple, because the husband is a sailor, and after I looked up their photo hmm I remind of Popeye & Olive. The man has quite big muscle and the wife look slim ^ ^  So I looking popeye and olive picture above boat on this link. 

Anyway I don't like smoking so I would not give the "popeye" the cigar on his mouth :D also because this clay figurine will also displayed in their family house. I think that cigar is not good example for kids. How about the wife? she wearing kerudung, so I change that olive style with white kerudung and one red flower. and this is it..
