About two months ago, I met new friend Lia, she's owner of Joy's Intangiblescollection. She bring her little daughter and we crafting together, I amaze with her daughter Joy, she's only 5 years old but she can sew and give me really sweet gift, a little snow doll. ^ ^ what a happy me ^ ^
These Grandpa & Grandma clay is ordered by her, when I making them, I remind UP, and Imagine someday I'll getting old too and my husband will look like them :D and..lucky me, she like it! I call this clay "Love Endures Forever" <Psalm 136> It can be forever because God's Love is limitless.

I would share some techniques when I making this clay. Its not easy to handling cold porcelain clay in bigger size above 3 cm, because cold porcelain clay dough is heavy, for example when we put circle shape, the dough will down and be flat on the bottom. So if we put all parts together in the same time while its still wet..the head, hair, body, hand, shoes..everything will ruins bad. So the best way for me is making each part one by one, wait until it 60% dry then stick it each others (I use gem glue, that I've been post about craft glues). after completely dry, I put the hair first, and then the eyes. wait about 1 hour, put the varnish. For face and clothes I used matt varnish, and for eyeglasses also hair and others ornamen like shoes and purse I used gloss varnish. Wait until 3-4 days, it will completely dry and the size will reduce about 5%.
